On May 3, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Tigran Khachatryan received the President of “Markis” Industrial Development Center Konstantin Marotis and the official of “GM Gruppo Maccabeo” Paolo Maccabeo.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of Sectoral Economic Policy of the Ministry Armen Yeganyan and the Head of the Department of Investment Attraction and Coordination Vahagn Lalayan.

During the meeting, Konstantin Marotis informed that at present the group of companies is conducting a study to establish a metal-galvanic power complex in Armenia

According to the concept introduced during the meeting, the “Markis” Industrial Development Center and the “GM Gruppo Maccabeo” company are planning to establish a competitive metallic complex in Armenia with close cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA, local productions, educational institutions and financial institutions.

Within the framework of the visit, it is also planned to organize a visit to private companies to get acquainted with the existing potential and opportunities for organizing metal-galvanic production.
