Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan represented the newly appointed Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Artsvik Minasyan and expressed gratitude to the former Minister Suren Karayan.
Talking about the future plans of the economy of the country, the Prime Minister noted that one of the most important issues that need to be solved is related to the investment climate.
“I hope we have solved quite a number of issues and I want to repeat that there will be no monopolies in Armenia. I am not sure that at this point there are no monopolies at all, but we must consistently work to stop their existence. I want to stress that the economic field is adequately responding to our political statements. After May 8, our economy has not only shown negative signals but also shows some positive signals that are associated with the optimistic atmosphere and expectations that exist,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the former Minister Suren Karayan, who, in his turn, thanked the staff of the Ministry for their high professionalism and wished Artsvik Minasyan success in implementing all the plans and also expressed his willingness to support the further activity of the Ministry.
Artsvik Minasyan expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the conviction he had been given as a result of cooperation with the ARF, thanking Suren Karayan for his activity. Touching upon the Prime Minister's words, Minasyan said that these issues, in particular on the anti-monopoly policy, will be at the core of the Ministry's daily work.
Nikol Pashinyan once again underlined that the page of economic, political, personal persecutions in Armenia has been closed, but on the other hand there is a border, which is legality. “Every day we must act with the feeling that we serve to the Republic of Armenia, citizens and serve the Armenian people,” said the Prime Minister.
