On May 22, a discussion took place at the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA with the participation of Minister Artsvik Minasyan, officials of the Ministry and representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The topic of the discussion was the draft law on amending the “Law on Foreign Investments of RA” which regulates relations related to the implementation, encouragement, protection and management of foreign investments in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The goal of the law is to ensure the transparency of the regulatory environment and increase the competitiveness of the country, increase the volumes of investments in Armenia, the development of economic cooperation with foreign countries, as well as the protection of the rights, interests and rights of foreign investors.
