On May 24, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Artsvik Minasyan received GIZ SME Project Team Lead Eva Maria Näher.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Avag Avanesyan and officials of the Ministry.

Welcoming Mrs. Näher, Minister Minasyan mentioned that he appreciates the implementation of joint projects with GIZ and is ready to hear and organize discussions and provide necessary support for the realization of interesting projects with joint efforts.

Eva Maria Näher confratulated Artsvik Minasyan on his appointment and mentioned that active work is currently being implemented in the field of creative industries, which gives the opportunity to dynamic, creative young people become engaged in business and succeed in Armenia, adding that as a result of their activities, a fashion and design chamber has been formed in Armenia and that initiative was supported by grant program.

During the meeting the necessity of creation of creative hubs in Armenia, where specialists from different spheres will gather for idea exchange and expansion of business opportunities has been discussed.

Eva Maria Näher presented the Expert from Great Britain who has international experience in this field and has already met various representatives in Armenia. The Expert said that he has implemented activity in Russia, Belarus and Georgia, noting that he will soon be ready to present the concept of hub development in Armenia.

Artsvik Minasyan stressed the importance of the idea and expressed readiness to support the initiative.
