On June 6, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Artsvik Minasyan received the Business delegation from Great Britain, headed by United Kingdom's Trade and Investment Commissioner Marc Pritchard. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Armenia Judith Margareth Farnworth.

Minister Minasyan greeted the guests and mentioned the importance of the visit of the delegation to Armenia. The Minister represented the reforms in the economic sphere, talked about the process of legislative amendments to stimulate investments. Artsvik Minasyan touched upon the possibility of cooperation and assistance in several directions.

The Head of the Delegation Marc Pritchard congratulated the Minister on his appointment and expressed readiness for cooperation and the interest of British businessmen in many spheres of Armenian economy. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on infrastructural development, audit, urban development, investment, renewable energy, tourism and a number of other areas.

The Minister stressed the importance of public-private partnership, spoke about steps to improve economic activity and transparency, expressing hope that the visit of British businessmen will be productive and will serve as a basis for establishing new business relations.
