On June 11, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Artsvik Minasyan received the delegation headed by the Head of Unit for Regional Programmes of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Vassilis Maragos. The meeting was attended by the officials from the European Commission, European Union Delegation to Armenia and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA.

Greeting the guests, the Minister stressed the importance of continuous cooperation with the European Union and the expressed readiness for further joint activity.

During the meeting issues related to the EU budgetary and technical support programs for Armenia within the EU-Armenia cooperation framework, the priorities of Armenia-EU partnership and the upcoming possible support activity for 2018 have been discussed.

The sides underlined the importance of the sectoral reforms in Armenia under the EU support programs, ensuring the effective implementation of the provisions of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, as well as the further deepening of bilateral cooperation.
